A 64-year-old man was struck and killed by a dump truck in Stouffville early Tuesday morning, York Regional Police say. It happened near Bloomington Road and Kennedy Road East at around 4 a.m. Police said the man was struck by a dump truck in the area and was pronounced dead at the scene. The major collision investigation unit has been called in to investigate. Bloomington Road was closed between Kennedy Road and Warden Avenue for the police investigation but the area has since reopened.
