‘Multiple shots’ fired at Mississauga tow yard, police say

Multiple shots were fired into a tow yard building in Mississauga early Sunday morning.

In an email to CP24, Peel Regional Police say officers responded just before 4 a.m. to the area of Dixie Road and Shawson Drive for reports of gunfire, which police confirmed is a tow yard.

Investigators say “multiple shots” were fired into the building. However, no injuries were reported.

Police say the suspect or suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, possibly a black sedan.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Regional Police.
