A cyclist has been rushed to the hospital following a collision involving a vehicle in Brampton. The crash happened near Dixie Rd and North Park Drive, between Williams Parkway and Bovaird Drive East. Peel Regional Police say a male cyclist was struck by a driver and transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver remained on scene, they said. Currently, northbound Dixie Road is closed at Northampton Street and southbound Dixie Road is shut down at Northcliffe Street. Police say motorists should expect delays in the area.
