Police in Halton Region have arrested three people after three stolen vehicles were found in a shipping container in Toronto. Police said their investigation began when a Toyota Sequoia was stolen from the parking lot of a car dealership in Milton in the early hours of July 21. The next day, using a “variety of investigative techniques,” police said investigators located the Toyota at a location in North York, discovering it inside of a shipping container. They also recovered a Toyota Tundra and a Honda CR-V, both of which were also stolen from the GTA, police said. Three people were taken into custody as a result. Police identified them as 66-year-old Joel Hinson of Brampton, 37-year-old Bright Mensah of Brampton, and 34-year-old Isaac Boamah of North York. Each suspect has been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
