A male has been seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in North York on Monday, paramedics say. The crash happened near Bayview and Heathcote avenues, just north of York Mills Road. Toronto police say they were called to that area just before 4 p.m. for reports of a collision involving a SUV and a motorcycle. A male motorcyclist in his 20s was transported to the hospital by Toronto paramedics, they said. Police added that both drivers remained on scene. Toronto paramedics told CTV News Toronto that they transported a male motorcyclist in his 20s to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries. Currently, northbound Bayview is closed at Heathcote, and motorists are being asked by police to use alternate routes.
