Three people were taken to the hospital on Wednesday evening following a two-vehicle crash in Scarborough, Toronto police say. The collision happened on Lawrence Ave E, just west of Kennedy Road. Police said they were called to that area at 7:40 p.m. A media officer told CP24 that a man and a woman in one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital “out of a precaution,” while a female was taken with non-life threatening injuries. Paramedics said they transported two patients with minor injuries and a third with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, to the hospital. “What lead up to the collision is still under investigation, and there have been no arrests or charges laid at this time,” Const. Ashley Visser wrote in an email.
