CBSA outage that was impacting wait times at Pearson airport resolved

A nationwide outage that was impacting Canada Border Service Agency kiosks at some airports, including Pearson International Airport, has been resolved.

The issue was first reported shortly before 7 a.m.

In a message posted to social media just after 9:30 a.m., the CBSA said that while the outage has been resolved “travellers may continue to experience delays in the short term” as it resumes “normal processing operations.”

“We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience experienced,” they said.

Pearson International Airport previously said that the outage was impacting CBSA kiosks in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and warned travellers about longer than normal wait times at customs.
