First responders rescued a driver from a vehicle that flipped onto its roof and landed in a ditch in Brampton early Wednesday morning. Emergency crews were called to the scene at near Clark Boulevard and West Drive, just east of Highway 410, for a single-vehicle collision. Images from the scene showed the car appears to have hit a guard rail before coming to a stop upside down off the roadway. The driver was transported to a trauma centre in critical condition. Police did not say what caused the crash. Clark Boulevard is closed between Highway 410 and West Drive. A tow truck could be seen removing the vehicle from the ditch following the incident.
