Police investigate shooting incident at park near Scarborough school

Toronto police have cordoned of a large area of a park near a Scarborough school after a firearm was discharged in the area earlier this morning.

The shooting scene is located at Wickson Trail Park, in the area of Neilson and Swells roads, near Grey Owl Jr. Public School.

Calls came in for the sound of gunshots at around 3 a.m. Police say officers on scene located evidence of gunfire.

No injuries were reported.

It is unclear if any suspects have been apprehended.
