A man in his 50s has been rushed to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries after being stuck by the driver of a vehicle in north Etobicoke on Wednesday evening, paramedics say. The crash happened in the Rexdale neighbourhood, near Martin Grove Road and John Garland Boulevard. Toronto police say they were called to that area just after 7:30 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian that had been struck in a collision. Currently, southbound Martin Grove Road is closed at John Garland Boulevard as police investigate. More details to come. This is a developing story.
