One person sustained minor injuries after a home invasion in Richmond Hill on Tuesday morning, police say. It happened at around 4:30 a.m. at a residence in the area of Red Oak and Hyde Park drives, which is in the vicinity of Hwy. 7 and Leslie Street. Police say that the injured party was one of the occupants of the residence. The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. “Expect a larger police presence in the area, as police continue to investigate,” police said in a post to social media. Police have described the home invasion as a robbery but have not said what, if anything, was taken. No suspect descriptions have been released.
