Thousands of Toronto Hydro customers were briefly left without power in the city’s east end on Friday morning. According to outage information posted online, 7,482 customers were without power in East York as of around 9:15 a.m. However, shortly before 10 a.m., the outage map indicated that power had been restored to customers previously impacted by the outage. It is not immediately clear what caused the outage.
