A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision in Scarborough. Toronto police say a van and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Brimley and Deerfield roads just before 8 p.m. The motorcycle rider was rushed to a trauma centre with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, Toronto paramedics say. Meanwhile, police say the driver of the van remained at the scene. The cause of the collision is unknown.
