Toronto police are investigating the death of a man found inside a residence as a homicide. Officers were called to a residence in the area of McGill and Church streets early Friday morning for a sudden death. Police said 41-year-old Satwant “Sonny” Sangha was found dead. An autopsy was performed, and signs of trauma to his body were discovered, police said. He is the city’s 23rd homicide victim of 2026. No suspect information has been released. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
