A man in his 60s was rushed to the hospital following a collision in downtown Toronto early Monday afternoon. The crash happened near Parliament Street and Wellesley Street East. Toronto police say they were called to that area around 12:15 p.m. for reports of a person who had been struck by a vehicle. An adult male was taken to the hospital via trauma run by paramedics, they said. Toronto Paramedic Services said they were called to that area and transported a male in his 60s to a trauma centre. He is now stable and in non-life-threatening condition, they told CP24. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. Northbound Parliament Street was closed between Amelia Street and Wellesley Street East but has since reopened.
