A man in his 40s has suffered life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed in the Toronto’s downtown core Friday night, police say. Officials say they responded to reports of a stabbing in the Bathurst and Dundas Street West area at about 8 p.m. Officers located the victim, who was taken to hospital with what were initially described as non-life-threatening injuries. Police later located upgraded the victim’s condition to life-threatening. Investigators say there is currently no suspect description and it is not known exactly where the stabbing occurred. The investigation remains ongoing.
