A man is in critical condition following a two-vehicle collision in Brampton Thursday afternoon. Peel police said the collision involving a pickup truck and a car occurred near McVean and Countryside Drives just before 5 p.m. One man suffered a head injury in the crash and was initially taken to a local hospital, Peel paramedics told CTV News Toronto. He was later airlifted to another hospital. Peel paramedics said they also transported another person to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
