A fog advisory remains in effect for the GTA on Tuesday morning with near-zero visibility reported in some areas. Conditions are expected to improve later this morning but rain and thunderstorms may continue. The first day of September will mark a return to humid weather, with Environment Canada calling for a high of 28 C, feeling closer to 36. A similar forecast is expected on Wednesday. While a few showers may pop up on Thursday, skies will clear and a dry long weekend is in the forecast. “It should be a great one weatherwise, with daytime highs in the mid-20s, plenty of sunshine, and little chance of rain from Friday to Sunday.” The national weather agency says Toronto will sunshine a highs of 26 C on Friday, 25 C on Saturday, and 24 C on Sunday.
