Collision involving TTC bus, pedestrian leaves 1 injured

A woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a TTC bus early Friday morning in the Evans Ave. and The West Mall area.

Toronto police say one person has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a TTC bus and a pedestrian in Etobicoke on Friday morning.

The collision occurred near Evans avenue and The West Mall at around 5:54 a.m.

Paramedics said a female was taken to hospital via trauma run and is expected to survive.

The eastbound lanes of Evans Avenue are closed at Sherway Gate for the investigation.
