An Ajax man has been charged after allegedly making antisemitic comments and death threats. Toronto police allege the man sent repeated online communications to a number of complainants between Oct. 1 and Oct. 3, 2025. His alleged communications contained anti-Jewish comments and threats to cause death, police said. As a result, police launched an investigation, which is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence. On Friday, Durham police arrested the man, who was identified as 30-year-old Riley Daniels. He has been charged with two counts of criminal harassment and uttering threats.
