5 masked suspects sought after jewelry store robbery at Dufferin Mall

Five masked suspects, two armed with hammers, smashed display cases and stole a quantity of merchandise at a jewelry store at Dufferin Mall on Saturday night, police said.

Calls came in around 7:22 p.m. for a robbery in the mall located near Dufferin Street and Bloor Street West.

Police said no one was physically injured in the incident. There is no immediate word on the worth of the stolen items.

The suspects, police said, fled in a dark-coloured vehicle. No descriptions have been released.
