4 people taken to hospital following 2-car collision in Scarborough

Four people have been taken to the hospital after two cars collided in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Birchmount Road and Ellendale Drive, south of Ellesmere Road, after 4:30 p.m. for a collision.

Toronto paramedics told CP24 that three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. There is no immediate word on the condition of the fourth person.

Police said the vehicles remained at the scene. The cause of the collision is unknown.
