Lyndsay Morrison is a Weather Anchor and Community Reporter for CTV News Toronto, delivering the forecast on the station’s weekday newscasts. She also broadcasts live-on-location from events and festivals around the GTHA. Morrison is a longtime community ambassador and host of CTV's annual Toy Mountain campaign with the Salvation Army. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Morrison was the reporter for a series called "Toronto Together," highlighting the inspiring people and good news stories happening in the city. Prior to joining CTV News Toronto, Morrison spent seven years at CTV News Kitchener as a Weather Specialist, where she also hosted the Annual Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade, which is broadcast nationally on CTV. Morrison previously worked as a Presenter and Writer for The Weather Network, and has served as a fill-in weather specialist for CTV YOUR MORNING. She has also handled hosting duties for Virgin Radio and CP24’s THINGS TO KNOW TO. Morrison holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University and is a former Highland Dance champion. She speaks English.
