Farah Chandani

Farah Chandani is an associate and field producer with CTV News Toronto, primarily producing the popular feature segment 'Consumer Alert.' Alongside CTV’s video journalist Pat Foran, she helps bring stories to the forefront that expose scams, warn about unsafe products and pass on money saving tips to the public. Farah also field produces CTV’s Christmas charity campaign, in support of The Salvation Army “Toy Mountain” where Canadian public figures, businesses, schools, organizations, community groups, CTV News viewers collect and donate toys to over 70,000 children across the GTHA. Farah has also worked on major news events in Canada, including field producing for the federal and provincial elections and the Caribbean Carnival. She is passionate about educating the viewers and advocating for consumers. Farah also enjoys pop culture and keeping up-to-date with the trends on social media. Farah studied journalism at Seneca College and holds a post-grad in Radio and Media Productions from Humber College. She speaks English, Portuguese and Gujarati. She also understands Hindi and Urdu.
