TORONTO - Maple Leafs general manager Dave Nonis has been released from a Toronto hospital after spending Saturday night there, according to a team spokesman.

Nonis was taken to the hospital during Saturday night's game against the Ottawa Senators. He was feeling sick during the second period and saw team physicians at Air Canada Centre.

"As a precaution, (Nonis) was asked to go to the hospital for further testing," a Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment statement released Sunday read.

Nonis, 47, is in his second season as Toronto's general manager.
