I Don’t Use My Phone Without One Of These Glass Screen Protectors

Because I hate scuffs and scratches and never want to deal with a cracked phone, I consider a good screen protector a non-negotiable. I have used one on every iPhone I’ve had, dating all the way back to 2012. Over the years, I’ve tried my fair share of styles, ranging from sticky plastic films to sturdier options.

I find that placing the screen protector down and swiping down the middle in one motion yields the best results, sans air bubbles. If I do get a few bubbles, I use my fingernail to pry a corner of the screen protector, then slowly press it back to the screen with the squeegee.

Each protector comes with a moist wipe, a cloth to buff out smudges, a sticker to lift larger debris off the screen, and a cardboard squeegee to smooth out air bubbles. Once the protector is on, I use the moist wipe to clean my screen, the cloth to wipe away any smudges, and finally the sticker to remove dust before it gets trapped.

Each pack comes with three screen protectors, which is great because having a backup is essential. With my newer, larger phone screen, cracks have become more of an issue. Since there’s more surface area to protect, it feels more damage-prone than the iPhones I’ve had in the past. Even when a sharp corner has pressed hard enough to cause a major crack, I’ve never found any damage to my actual phone screen when removing the protector to replace it. I really appreciate knowing I always have a spare ready to pop on if it happens again.
