Calgary Police have re-arrested a serial rapist who was granted $200 bail.

24 year old Keegan Troy Spearchief was re-arrested Tuesday night while at the Calgary Remand Centre for breach of probation.

Spearchief was arrested early Monday charged with trespassing and failing to abide by his probation orders.

Spearchief is accused of peeping into a woman's bedroom window in the southeast Sunday night.

He has a long history of sexual assaults and break-and-enters.

When Spearchief was released from prison last year, police labeled him a high-risk to re-offend,

Despite that label and the new charges, a Justice of the Peace released Spearchief on only $200 bail.

The accused didn't have the money and remained at the Calgary Remand Centre.

A Calgary Police officer present at the bail hearing admits he failed to give the justice of the Peace all the information regarding Spearchief's criminal past.

The accused will stay at the Remand Centre until his bail hearing.

CPS is reviewing how they handled this case to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Alberta Justice is also reviewing the case.
