You may be hard-pressed to find something David Saint-Jacques isn’t good at.

The next Canadian astronaut set to blast off into space is an astrophysicist, engineer, medical doctor, scuba diver and pilot. And he speaks five languages.

Saint-Jacques, who is set to travel to the International Space Station in 2018, says he is simply a naturally curious person.

“I remember from a very young age, deciding that want I really wanted to do in life was, if I could, try to understand everything,” the Quebec City native says with a chuckle. “That’s been my crazy ambition.”

Overachiever, indeed.

So does Saint-Jacques have any flaws? He points to one.

He says while his wife is a “great” dancer, he’s “not so great.”
