Two Saskatoon paramedics are being recognized for their help delivering a baby while on duty. In a Facebook post on Friday, Medavie Health Services West said Troy S. and Jaden M. — whose full names were not shared — were each presented with a Stork Pin for helping deliver a healthy baby boy in August. “Congratulations, Troy and Jaden, on receiving this meaningful honour,” Medavie said in the post. “Your quick thinking, skill, and compassion made all the difference for this family on one of the most important days of their lives.” The ambulance service says delivering a baby is a “rare and incredible moment in the life of a paramedic.”
