Saskatoon fire crews responded to a home fire Saturday afternoon. At around 4:28 p.m. firefighters were called to o the 100 block of Lehrer Close, where they saw heavy smoke coming from the rear of the home. The fire department says crews entered the house with a hose line to extinguish the fire, while a second team searched the building to ensure no one was inside. The fire has since been fully extinguished and no occupants were found in the home. A fire investigator remained at the scene Saturday to determine the cause, origin and extent of the damage.
