The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced their football operations staff and additions to their coaching staff for 2026. New additions include Micah Johnson, who has been named defensive line coach, and Jeff Stusek, who has been named assistant of special teams. Johnson played as a defensive lineman for 13 years and announced his retirement from the Riders on Jan. 5. During his time playing with the Riders, he appeared in 177 regular season games, tallying 309 defensive tackles and 71 sacks. Stusek has an extensive background coaching football in Saskatchewan and joined the Riders as a guest coach at training camp in 2024 and 2025. Joshua Bell has been named defensive coordinator and Jordan Linnen will take over as the defensive backs coach, according to the Riders.
