Tim Hortons have officially launched their latest Holiday Smile Cookie campaign on Monday. The campaign kicked off at the Tim Hortons on Chuka Boulevard where local celebrities gathered to put their cookie-making skills to the test through a variety of challenges, including decorating the cookies blindfolded and while wearing oven mitts which explains why some of the cookies may not look completely perfect. “It’s a crazy week; there’s a lot of cookie-making. Our special guests see it’s maybe not the easiest thing to make. That’s maybe why sometimes you don’t see the perfect smile on them when you get them,” franchisee Mike Di Stasi explained. Last year, Tim Hortons raised $10.7 million for local charities across Canada, as well as Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. In Regina, half of the proceeds go to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, while the other half goes to Ehrlo Sport Venture. Regina and area Tim Hortons locations aim to sell 50,000 cookies and raise $100,000 during this campaign. Cookies are $2 each, and the campaign runs until Nov. 23.
