The signs of fall are already apparent in Saskatchewan, as sections of the province’s east have been placed under a frost advisory. As of 3:15 p.m., the advisory includes the communities of Melfort, Nipawin, Hudson Bay, Kamsack, and Canora. The advisory warns that temperatures are expected to approach 0 C overnight and into the early morning hours on Wednesday – with temperatures set to rebound shortly after sunrise. The weather agency advises residents to cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas, and to take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
