FlixBus has announced an expansion to its prairie routes, with Regina to become a key travel hub. As part of the expansion, the company is introducing service on a route from Calgary to Regina to include stops in Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Medicine Hat, and Lethbridge, along with a stop in Brandon on a new Regina to Winnipeg route. Flix Bus said the expansion will allow for better connectivity across the prairies and makes Regina a key travel hub. With the new launch, Regina will become a key travel hub, with service to Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg. “This launch reflects the growing demand we’re seeing for intercity bus travel as Canadians look for practical alternatives to rising travel costs and more flexibility in how they travel,” said Karina Frayter, head of communications at Flix North America. The buses include free Wi-Fi, power outlets at every seat, spacious seating, and real-time trip tracking, the company said. Tickets can be purchased online or on the FlixBus mobile app. The new routes launch on May 7.
