DAWSON CREEK, B.C. - The RCMP are asking residents in northeastern B.C. to be patient as they investigate the sixth bombing of an EnCana natural gas operation with the bomber still at large.

The latest attack was discovered on Saturday near the small village of Pouce Coupe, just three days after another bombing on Canada Day.

The force is now calling the series of attacks "domestic terrorism," although it's been months since investigators have announced any new leads in the case.

Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says he understands the public might be frustrated that the attacks are continuing with the bomber still free.

But he says investigations like this take time, and he says the resources devoted to the case -- including the force's national anti-terrorism unit -- show they are taking it seriously.

The bombings began last October shortly after a threatening letter complaining about local natual gas development was sent to local media.
