PENTICTON, B.C. - The Mounties say they've made the biggest-ever drug bust in B.C.'s southern Okanagan Valley, and one of the people arrested is a civilian employee of the RCMP detachment in Penticton.

Police say they raided two homes in the city and found about 2.5 kilograms of cocaine, hundreds of ecstasy tablets, so-called magic mushrooms and a large quantity of cash.

Three people have been charged with possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking, including 53-year-old Kathy Myshrall, an city employee who worked as a clerk at the Penticton Detachment.

Her 25-year-old son Jonathan Myshrall is also facing charges, along with 27-year-old Brian Younie.
