Trudeau a no-show at first leaders’ debate

Opposition leaders took turns attacking the record of Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau at the first debate of the campaign, but they were aiming at an empty podium.

Trudeau decided to skip the Maclean's/Citytv debate for a campaign rally in Edmonton, where he hopes to take a riding away from the NDP.
