It appears as though Quebec's "Orange Crush" is over.

A Jack Layton-led NDP Party surged in popularity in the province during the 2011 federal election, winning 58 of 75 seats in Quebec. On Monday, NDP incumbents struggled to maintain their supremacy in most of those ridings.

Several of the Quebec races were tight, with just a few hundred votes separating candidates in at least six ridings where recounts appear likely.
