HALIFAX - Police investigating the death of a pizza delivery man in the Halifax area say they've been contacted by the owner of a vehicle that was seen in the area around the time of the fatal shooting.
Police say the driver of the red SUV they were looking for got in touch with them late Tuesday.
They have not said what came of the meeting.
Investigators are still trying to determine whether a gun found in a wooded area not far from the crime scene Sunday night is connected to the incident.
Donald Chad Smith, 27, of Windsor Junction, N.S., was shot and killed Saturday while delivering a pizza to a building in Dartmouth.
