CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Canadian astronaut Julie Payette says she expects her pending trip aboard the space shuttle Endeavour to be an "action-packed flight."

Payette and the rest of the six-member crew are preparing to blast off June 13 for the International Space Station.

She will drop in on fellow Canadian Bob Thirsk, who last week began a six-month mission aboard the space station.

Payette told a news conference today at the Kennedy Space Center that while it may be old hat for some, she is excited as she prepares for his second trip in space.

She says it's still a big deal to have two Canadian astronauts in space at the same time.

But she expects that one day there will have been so many Canadians in space that no one will take notice.
