A prominent Pembroke, Ont. dentist awaiting trial in a fatal drunk driving case is in custody again, charged with breaching her bail conditions.

In a CTV Ottawa exclusive, Christy Natsis was caught on camera being led out of the Rideau Centre shopping mall in downtown Ottawa by OPP and Ottawa police around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, after being caught allegedly buying alcohol at the liquor store inside the mall.

Natsis, 46, had been free on bail awaiting trial in a drunk driving crash in March that killed 50-year-old Bryan Casey. One of the conditions of her bail was that she could not consume, possess or buy alcohol.

Casey, a father of three, was killed last month while driving home from work in Chalk River when his car was hit head-on by another driver. Natsis was charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and having a blood-alcohol level over .08 causing death.

Ottawa police said Natsis was arrested Thursday after being spotted inside the liquor store twice by undercover OPP officers who called for assistance.

The trial in the fatal car accident is scheduled for next November.
