Ontario Trade Minister Vic Fedeli says Americans sent a clear message that tariffs drive up costs and that separating the integrated Canada-U.S. economy is harmful. He says Canada must fight to prevent the 338 tariffs set to take effect Jan. 1. The minister has planned 3 trips to the U.S. in the new year, in different states, to pursue trade and fight tariffs.
