Seaspan Shipyards has named Algoma Steel a primary steel plate supplier for Canada's next Coast Guard icebreakers, with Stigterstaal Canada as secondary supplier. Together they will provide 24,000 tonnes of steel, with construction starting by mid-2027. Amanda Hicks has more.
