Newly elected trustees at the Near North District School Board cannot take office until Education Minister Paul Calandra lifts a provincial supervision order imposed in December over governance and financial mismanagement. The appointed supervisor retains full control, and it remains unclear when Calandra will hand the reins back to the elected board.
