Tenaris has announced it is now producing a new steel grade, called TN 95 EY, at its Sault Ste. Marie facility for Western Canadian energy operators. The steel will be used in oil and gas wells where operators face high pressure and temperature conditions. The announcement comes on the heels of a $306-million joint investment from the federal and Ontario governments to modernize and expand manufacturing capabilities.
