A new report by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives says Ontario's outsourcing of some medical treatments to private clinics has not reduced wait times. For example, MRI waits rose from 35 days in 2017 to 47 days in 2025. The provincial health minister's office calls the report "misguided."
