Special Olympics Ontario has launched its 'Draft an Athlete' fundraiser for the 2027 Winter Games in North Bay. For a donation of $500 or more, donors cover an athlete's transportation, accommodations, facility and meal costs, with North Bay police aiming to raise $540,000 for the cause.
