The City of Timmins has halted plans for a new fire station, closing its contract with the architect. The city's current station dates back to 1957. The fire chief says the project is on hold, not cancelled. The firefighters' association has opposed the proposed site on Highway 655 over response time concerns. Lydia Chubak reports.
