North Bay police launch school bus safety campaign
North Bay police have launched their 'Slow It Down for School' campaign to remind drivers to stop for school buses as students return to class. Fines start at $490 and six demerit points, with subsequent offences carrying fines of up to $ 4,000 and possible jail time. Police are also training crossing guards to help catch violators.
