A first-time filmmaker's mini-documentary on the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat will make its debut at the Toronto Independent Film Festival on Sept. 17. 'Stewards of the North' offers a close-up look at the care of rescued polar bears and carries a message about climate change. The film will also screen at Cinéfest Sudbury. Ian Campbell reports.
